I am a passionate student studying Film & Media. I have had training and experience in many different mediums including: Short films, music videos, documentaries, live shows, sound dubs, opening sequences, idents, adverts, news items & stop motion animation. With these mediums I have learnt all the theory and experienced the whole production process too and created them successfully. As well as college work I have also done work outside of that too, including other short films and commissioned work for the local council. I have experience in most roles in media including: Directing, camera operator, editor, boom operator, vision mixer, presenter, animator, scriptwriter, storyboard artist and many more. I work well on my own and with groups too. I am easy to get along with and when directing I like to have group feedback all the time and make sure everyones voice is heard as well as making decisions on my own. Numerous college projects that I have been apart of have been nominated and won numerous times. In the first year of studying Media a documentary that I edited and co-directed won Best Documentary at my Colleges Popcorn Awards. It was also Nominated for Best Film and I was up for Best Editor for it too. In that same year I was also nominated for Best Opening Sequence as well. In the second year the projects that I also was apart of were also awarded too. The main one was a Music Video that i co-edited & starred in which won two awards: Best Music Video & Best Cinematography. A Single Camera drama that I was camera operator and co-editor was also nominated for Best Single Camera Drama. The roles that I feel strongest in are editing, camera operating & directing and I feel (and have shown) that I can perform all these roles to a professional level for numerous different genres and mediums. In my spare time I like to watch films, play games, listen to music and do the odd editing job on a project. I feel that I get my source of inspiration from a variety of places. I have always been an avid gamer since a young age and music too has been a big part of my life as well. I can always visualise music and get a sense of the emotion and atmosphere for songs, whether they are hip hop, dubstep, drum & bass, rock, pop and pretty much anything else. I always keep an open mind to anything that watch, play or listen too as i think this is how you can get maximum creative inspiration. This helps for when editing as I enjoy putting visuals to music and i can always find that 'right' track for a certain scene or montage. Overall I am a very positive and happy individual who is confident & passionate in what I do and is can be friendly with anybody. I listen well and perform all my job roles to how the client or director may want as well as pitching in my own ideas.
