Blind Encounter
A revealing portrait of a man called Nikos Leonidas who lost his sight as a child through a medical accident in his native Cyprus. Years later, journeying to London in a desperate attempt to regain his ability by to see resulted in complete failure and he soon found himself on the streets of London busking for his survival. This day still surrounded in darkness Nikos Leonidas now in his seventies continues to busk and has learned to see Life in his own unique way. A humbling, yet inspirational story that speaks philosophically about the human condition and the personal acceptance of disability without loss of faith. An intimate journey that will make you consider the values in your own life and how we all see the world.
